Matthias Röder is a music executive, digital marketing consultant and musicologist. Before taking on the position of Managing Director of the Karajan Institute in Salzburg he taught musicology and music history at Harvard University where he received a PhD on “Music, Politics, and the Public Sphere in Late Eighteenth-Century Berlin” in 2010.
